Healthy energy bars

Ready to boost your day with something truly delicious and nourishing?

Try our very own healthy energy bars packed with goodness o jeep you strong.

You will need:

50g Pumpkin seeds

50g Whole almonds

50g Walnut halves

50g Pecans

100g pitted dates

1 ripe banana

50g apricots

50g cranberries

50g quick oats

300g dark semi-sweet chocolate

 

Roast all the nuts and seeds in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit and toast lightly till they are golden brown and smell incredible (2-3 minutes-every oven is different).

Once the nuts and seeds are perfectly toasted, take them out and let them cool down completely. 

Next, in your blender add the dates with one banana and blend till you have a wonderful smooth paste.

Now finely chop your apricots and cranberries. (Save some for the garnish on top)

Using a mortar and pestle, gently grind your cooked roasted nuts.

Time to bring it all together. In a large bowl combine 50g of oats, your freshly ground nuts, chopped fruit, and the delightful date and banana mixture.

Mix everything thoroughly until it is beautifully combined. Press this vibrant mixture evenly onto a baking tray.

Melt the chocolate using a double boiler and pour over the mixture and sprinkle with the remaining apricots and cranberries.

You can now refrigerate for 4-6 hours (or over night) and cut bars evenly and enjoy!

You will feel amazing knowing exactly what is in your bars.
