Bay leaves is an ancient herb and was used to symbolize wisdom and glory in the Roman Empire. Bay leaves are a fragrant leaf from the laurel tree and dried. The leaves are added to slow-cooked recipes, such as soups, sauces, and stews and are removed before serving the dish. Ground bay leaves are used for more flavor. Bay leaves have a floral scent similar to oregano and thyme.

In order to keep costs at a minimum, we prefer to use Canada Post, Purolator and UPS as our shipping carriers. The shipping rate is calculated based on the address and weight of the product.We package everything fresh just for you! Because we package each order by demand to guarantee freshness, please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be shipped. You will recieve tracking details as soon as your package is on its way. We offer a pickup option on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at The Skript Kitchen and Commissary (250 West 3rd Avenue, Vancouver, BC)
