Organic spelt flour is made from an ancient variety of wheat. It contains gluten but can be tolerated more than wheat by gluten intolerant individuals. Spelt flour has a nutty, slightly sweet flavor and can be used in most recipes that call for regular or wholewheat flour. Spelt flour makes a delicious sourdough bread with a golden crust and it can be moist and dense then conventional wheat breads.
In order to keep costs at a minimum, we prefer to use Purolator as our shipping carrier. The shipping rate is calculated based on the address and weight of the product.
